rp log: ED: Shinji and Kippei

Shinji waited a few days after Kenya came and got him, letting bruises fade and bite marks disappear, scratches and scrapes lighten to nothing. He didn't want Kippei asking stupid questions, and he never wanted anyone besides Kenya to know just how badly he tended to lose in a fight when up against the female members of his family. That was way too embarrassing, thank you very much. When he was finally satisfied that there was nothing easily visible, he set about braiding his hair back into a long plait down his back, pulled on some dark jeans, found a comfortable t-shirt and pulled a hoodie on over the top before grabbing wallet and phone, shoving them in his pocket and heading out. He didn't bother looking for Kenya, suspecting the vampire wasn't quite awake yet since it was only just sunset. Shinji himself wasn't fond of the idea of going out, even at sunset with minimal light, but he had already spent days without seeing Kippei and he wanted to...needed to somehow. He wasn't sure where to go, so he wandered for a little while before finding a cab and getting a ride to the house Kippei was renovating, hopping out and staring at it before he tip toed his way inside, following the soft thump and rustle of life. When he found Kippei he just stared, annoyed that his chest hurt so damn badly just seeing him. He was completely fucked.
