rp log: Shinji-Kippei: xp

Shinji packed the last of his things that he wanted to take and sat on the edge of the bed, not sure what to do next. He had to go soon...and he still hadn't told Kippei. He grabbed Kii and pet him distractedly, terrified of leaving the cat alone, even if Kippei would be here. No one else could talk to Kii so how would anyone know what he wanted or needed? Shinji didn't like the idea of leaving him alone at all. But he didn't like the idea of being alone himself either; of being away from Kippei. It made sense though, all the things Sakaki had said. They did need to test and attune the quiet room and they hadn't checked his powers in a long time. He was overdue for training and now was as good a time as any. But Kippei wasn't going to like it at all. Not one bit. Shinji nudged his packed bag under the bed and waited for him, wondering when he was getting back today but not willing to ask him in case he came back sooner.
